I easily won Bidpacks 5 times within 2 days, less than 25 hours. Yet I failed to bid for iPad, laptop, Luois bags, every time for the timer to reach 2 seconds before bidding, which I understand because the live feed said at least 5-6 people came online.

However, today, after noticing that the previous Slendertone was won at $0.02 price, I am eager to get my hands and win the bid on the next Slendertone and I was expecting easy win because no one was online.

Now I am bidding for Slendertone with the 450 bids I have and I still get intercepted by random bidders who seems to have never logged in during the previous 17 hours. Your live feed shows that only 2 people logged had logged in in the previous 17 hours, which are Erlene and me, Seizhin. I need explanation on what is going on? Why the last Slendertone which was sold in the previous 20 hours was sold at $0.02 (2 bidders) while the Slendertone I am bidding at the moment seems to be very "popular" even though your visitor count on the previous 1:30 hours only increased by 6. (which means, there were 6 visits) Who are these bidders who are online and why dont your Live Feed update their presence?

Curious, have anyone won anything other than the "bid" packs?

I easily won Bid packs, in fact, I won 6 in 2 days and I had over 700 bids.

I spent more than $200 SGD over the 700 bid packs in 2 days and tried hard to use them for iPhone, iPad, etc. When I lost, I realized that I have to get something "not in demand" such as Slendertone (previous sold at $0.02) but even though no one was "online", I could not even get a simple item such as Slendertone which was previously sold at $0.02 on the previous day!

This is suspicious because I feel like competing against bots with different names. The moment I stopped bidding, the timer will easily drop to 1 second. Yet everytime I bid, someone will re-bid before my timer reach 10.

I'm even more suspicious because the live feed reveals that only Erlene and Me was logged in in the previous 17 hours, yet there were too many bidders with different names here. I need an explanation of what's going on or I may have to make a Paypal dispute!

I received lots of business emails now days.

I'm sure all of us received emails daily, including spams and chain letters, however, what's more annoying is when you receive a business letter, but the person sending you does not send the email formally. Due to the high rate of spam mail nowdays, I cant help but carefully check the email before replying or marking the email as a spam.

As an example:

As a medical practitioner, of course I'm interested in the email, when I opened it, there are a few DONT's whenever you write a business letter or email. From the above example, these 3 are why I decided to mark the email as a spam.

1) An all capital letter email
-- I dont know about all of you, but when I write a formal letter, never did I ever write them in all Capital Letters.. It's seriously the wrong way to write a formal letter. The same goes for email.

2) Sender and Receiver's information
-- With so many spam mails, they usually hide the hundreds of recipient via carbon copy feature. In the email above, it's clear that the email is a forward email addressed to someone else and not me.

3) Addressing "Dear All" instead of "Dear (Your name)"
-- Spam mails are sent to hundreds of recipient at once, thus the "Dear All." If the sender cant even type my name, I dont think he/she is fit to be a business partner.

And hence... The deletion and mark as Junk Mail.

Today, 27 Feb 2011, Phraewa Thaephasadin N Ayotaya's faimly had announced on public that the girl's car did NOT crash on the van.

Easily said, the Thaephasadin family said that Phraewa, (all evidence are clear that she crashes on the van) is innocent.

What are the police doing? Where is Justice in Thailand? Money prevails? Money is everything in Thailand?

Last year, 29th December, an accident occurred where an underage (or 18) years old girl who were driving under the influence of alcohol crashes on a van full of passengers on a high way.

The girl were uninjured, however, van's passenger suffers heavy lost. 8 were instantly killed, roughly 3 flew from the high way to the bridge across, another 3 were trampled across the road, bleeding to death, while the other 2 died on the way to the hospital.

What is intrigued me is, the girl who is the primary cause of the accident, were busy updating her FaceBook, twitter and sending BlackBerry messages to her friends instead of assisting the injured.

Her message on her FB is as follows:

Translated: "Oh my, I just crashed my car on a van earlier. Dont know how many died, hahaha. It's so exciting, I'll upload the photo."

Part of her BlackBerry message was later revealed after the accident happened.

BB Praewa: A little while, my father is dealing with the press.

This Praewa is later revealed to be Oracha Thaephasadin Na Ayothaya, part of the elite and famous family who have deep involvement in the military and police ranks.

When the first aid came, dead bodies and the injured can be found around the area:

Instead of assisting the injured, she was standing there playing with her BlackBerry, abandoning the injured and the dead, showing no sign of surprise, shock, nor injury.

Weeks after the incident, there were no improvements nor updates on the topic.
However, private reporters and the family of the victim have not stopped gathering evidence to bring Praewa to justice!

Sadly, a brave reporter reported that the police had somehow changed the evidence during the crash. Praewa's car were changed, from the top to bottom.

As you can see, the damage was modified to make it that Praewa did not crash at the van, but instead, the van was at fault for turning too fast.

Praewa herself later revealed the picture of herself, badly injured while in an undisclosed hospital.

Praewa's Mother, went on tour to visit the victim's ceremony while telling everybody that her daughter too was badly injured, cut on her back down to her buttock.

Praewa's mother even begged for forgiveness to the victim's parents in the manner you see above.... Her cries can be heard across the room while lamenting that her daughter (Praewa, who got the 9 people killed) was also badly injured. Praewa's Mother gave the victim's family 20,000 baht (715 USD)

However..........

The latter picture of Praewa's condition contradicts evidence that she was playing and meddling with her BlackBerry 5 minutes after the accident.

The left side is her condition after the accident. The right is her condition 2 days after the accident... Hmm? Did you notice? She was NOT injured in the accident.

On the 4th January, the police had called her into the Police Station to interrogate her, yet again.. Praewa does not seem to be injured at all. She made blank expression and said "I'm sorry for what happened."

Soon after, she was released, not detained.

These are the list of her guilt:

-: Claim to be 16-17, underage to prevent major guilt.
-: Is driving under the influence of alcohol
-: The owner of the car she drove is subject to guilt as well.
-: Over speed driving.
-: Her parent's are subject guilty for NOT taking care of her daughter.

According to the law, Praewa is subject to be imprisoned for 10 years, however, since she's underage, she may NOT be imprisoned, and will only get warned.

Praewa's uncle, who is a high ranking military officer had told the press to STOP all news about Praewa. Praewa's father who is also a high ranking police officer too, had said the same.

2 days after both elites had said those word, Praewa's topic are no where to be seen....

This is Thailand, money and elite status prevents you from being jailed.
Amazing Thailand indeed!

Still no update, Phraewa is living a luxury life outside jail despite the fact that she crashes and killed 9 people. Those who died are the main support of their family.

Phraewa's family paid 30,000 baht (Roughly $1,000) for the life of the dead (and not all), but doesnt apologize or accept her punishment.

Thai Judicial system themselves shows mercy on Phraewa who got 9 people killed, no update, she is not caught instantly at the moment police found her but instead awaits for Phraewa's father to give the "release" order.

Where is justice in Thailand? Shame!

Many things had changed, many things will change.

Especially during the analytic trip 3 months ago.

I've been traveling quite often this year, and there's been much changes on myself.

I must brush aside these confusion and focus on what I see clearly.
Recover my sight, recover my vision. Enforce myself to move forward without hesitation.

I'm getting older by another year, how much have I change?

A small step toward the end, but a big step to the "beginning."

Been 2 days.... Yesterday, and today, there are these graduation ceremony for the new graduates.

I've been out for quite a while, but it does seem empty to me.
I never feel much for graduation ceremony... unless of course, it's a friend's. But I dont stay there all day and take hundred pictures of myself..

Graduation was never an excitement for me, it's just another new start, however much.... I'm more concerned on the certificate I was getting, it's must more important than wearing a Graduation Dress and taking photos around.

Our lab recently ordered for a cheaper quality microscope. You cant believe how many people carelessly uses important microscope and causes damage to it.

Hopefully the coming lot will reduce the reparation fee that we have to deal as well as lens replacement fees.

I've been quite active on the streets of Sai 2 now.
Basically, all the banking affairs are being held by me, thus making me pass through these the central Hat Yai daily.

Although it seems busy, compared to the holiday season, it's still considered quiet by most vendors.

Hotel rooms are cheap and available at months like this. :) Do consider to start reserving for hotel rooms this month or you will hardly find any on November.

My eyes are naturally, dark brown, some even goes as far as commenting that it's dark red... Whether they are mocking me or not.... I wanted a lighter red, however, since I couldnt find any...

Never wore any lenses to be honest, since the procedure relied heavily on the hygiene of the user. I must analyze more before I started using these lenses.
Any advise appreciated.

2 Weeks ago, I had to travel to Langkawi for some work analysis.

I was informed a week prior to the trip and all preparations had to be done in a rush.

No clue how Langkawi is though... Personally, I'd even go to the extend that I'd prefer to be sent to Pulau Pinang instead. [Personal reason, yeah..]

So yeah, all I received was a phone call from a government agent inquiring of the time and date, and the information that I received from them is mainly where we'll be heading and who'll follow.
Those high ranking officials in the educational department were also present, such as Dr. Ekkachai who's the Head Educational Principal [MBA] of the Hoo Kar Khaa Thai.

Since this is government funded trip, all fees are paid by the Thai Government..... Which, as expected, fees are to be reduced to minimum... Instead of a flight, we had to travel by bus for a few hours, before crossing via Speed Boat.

I've no complain though, the environment's good, and we can do all we can, though I forgot to apply necessary sun block.. I should appear tanner now.. [Glutathione needed]

These 2 are also part of the Officials from the Department of External Commerce. They showed great cooperation and helps with all that we need.

We reaches Langkawi, and continues on Bus again to our hotel...

Welcome to Langkawi Grand Continental Hotel...
A friend and a few colleagues said that it's a 3 star hotel. The fee is approximately RM 150 per night (I think, cant remember.)

I dont really care about hotel rooms though, since I'm only there to sleep, would rather spend my time "outside" the hotel anyways.

The problem with this trip is, time's extremely short.

We reaches the Hotel at 7pm local time, but the appointment for the Diplomatic Talk is held at 7.30pm~~~ The primary problem is, there's no time for shopping~~

I did though, sneak out for 30 min walk and attended the dinner late..

Yep, refers to cross culture business..
There's quite a few Thai businessmen in Langkawi, although to be honest, Malaysia's business is quite, bad for cross culture. Bumiputras to hold at least 51%.. Even though I'd like to establish a business in Malaysia, the rules and regulation is aweful, better off heading to Vietnam or Myanmar.

The dinner talk ended late, instead of 9pm, it ended close to 10pm... Most of the officials, retired for bed...

Me, on the other hand......................

Spend the rest of the night until 2am outside~

Langkawi's extra unordinarily quiet pass 10pm... There's almost nothing except a few, Cap Jai shop and Roti Canai Hawkers... I'm somehow disappointed. Hat Yai's night life started at almost 11pm..

Maybe I was at a different location, but it's still disappointing...

Teh Tarik itself is... pretty bad compared to the one in Penang.. The Tea's not concentrated, and it's almost tasteless.. Sigh~ The Roti Canai's pretty good though..

I miss the time I spent in Penang.. Been, 8 years eh.. hehe~

Called the Aim Star. Initial impression is that, it's just like Amway.

Very nice speech though. Some 24 years old guy made 1 million per month after 4 years of work to find more and more networks. And yes, this is another MLM company..

Personally, no interest in here... I'm very well aware of how the MLM company operates, and they're never in my interest unless I'm part of the executives, not the so called "Businessman" or "Businesswoman."

It's still pity how many people are easily brainwashed by these things.

These are business I guess, another different distributing channel.

I'm back to work ever since early this week.

Lab work still goes on, but I have to halt the research I'm leading.

Anyways, my wound's better. I could control the infection without much effort, thanks to a few gentamycin and daily alcohol to clear out the dead cells.

I cant perfectly uses my hand as it is for now, as recovery isnt 100%.

There's a few internal damage on my knee but it's not severe. I can get back to full operation soon.

Now it's just about the scar, the EGALV 53KRK research we're leading should prove useful in stimulating collagen and returning the epidermis's color back to normal, if not, close to normal.

Let's see how effective it is. I cant help to feel proud that I'm the first specimen used as a test sample.

10 Jun 25 - Road Accident

Off work... But I still have work to do.

I'm not in shape to do much after a recent accident.

Recently bought a motorbike after almost 3 months of driving, and this is what I get for not paying attention to the stone in the middle of the road.

I'm injured on both of my hands, both elbows and right knee.

With the knowledge I have, I dont think it's necessary to head to a doctor. However, some said that there's another reason why I dont like to go to the doctor. I, myself, is not sure how true it is.

However, I'm taking a close analysis on my wound for improvements. If it fails to shape up in 72 hours, I'll head up for injection.

Hopefully Gentamicin and Amoxy-Clav will assist me for a faster improvement so I can get back to work. :)

Thanks to the people who assisted me during the incident.

10 May 30 - Slipping into Time

It's been quite a while ever since I last blogged.

I've been pinned down to mainly onto our Pharmaceutical Company and Stock Researching.

Furthermore, we've recently jumped into Gift Shop Business, and we're still analyzing of further possibilities in the Hat Yai Market.

Even so, information and the already made assessment are needed.

Together with my partner, I had to enter the PSU to request for a few details, including a few data that they have, which are open to public.
The result was... rather disappointing, considering the authorities who received my Document did not hand it up to the higher management, she instead, tried to handle it on her own and... failed miserably, and gave us a rather useless information.

3 hours wasted in the University, and I'll have to rewrite the Document and hand it to the Head Management myself to prevent any problem such as this to occur.

During our way back...

There's always interesting to observe the environment, and naturally, things looks pretty good around the University.

It's been quite a while since I started our project. The result have been interesting, but it's still not enough.
The real actions are still far behind.

We'll have to continue moving forward. Dawn's near, but still far out of reach. Who knows when it's dusk..

10 May 22 - Red Shirt Massacre

There's have been a huge protest against the Thai Government..

The protest holds the Symbol Color of the Red Shirts. And is also known as, the exiled ex-Prime Minister Thaksin's Shinawatra's Supporter.

These protesters demands the present government, Aphisit Vejajiwak to step down from being the Prime Minister.

The protest had been going only for a only few weeks... but nonetheless, numerous of chaos spreads.. These includes bombings in several areas in Bangkok. Who were responsible for the chaos is unknown..

A few days ago, there was an order from the Prime Minister Aphisit to resolve the protest, even by force... Soldiers were dispatched to completely clear all the areas from the Red Shirt protesters.. Even if it means, by force...

It was a counter measure after the Red Shirts had broken through various of Police Barricades to seize a few important Government Headquarters.

The Government, retaliates, by issuing curfew, and.... promising to "clean" the entire area, even by it means, using heavy weapons.

This causes a major damage not only to the Red Shirts, but also to the citizens around the area.

If you tried searching carefully, there's various of videos in youtube.com where Red Shirt's protesters are being shot by Military Snipers, killed instantly.

Most of Thai medias are under government control, any anti-government issues are to be "banned" and possible arrest are happening, but... most of the Thai citizens are blinded by the media control.

At the same time, no one can deny of the damage the Red Shirt causes... Burning Banks, the BOI, and disrupting the Stock Exchanges...

I come to wonder if I made the right decision in Thailand, or I should have at least considered investing Jakarta Board instead.

I have no time eh, just customer's inquiry is enough to keep me pinned in office for 4-6 hours.

Saturday and Sunday are full of various of events, lectures etc. etc.

Gonna open a gift shop together with a friend, so we'll see how it'll go..

It's an official Water Festival Songkran Festival.

Random water splashing in the Kingdom.

The entire town is out of control, you cant head out to work without getting wet. (unless you're in the car)

It's funny though, it's the first time ever since I moved to Thailand that I had the chance to be checking on how things is out there during Songkran.

Oh and another notable thing is...... There are more Malaysian/Singaporeans/Indonesians than Thais.

They're everywhere in the major spots, such as Lee Garden Hotel, Novotel Centara, Thung Sao, Tlaad Sod, etc. etc.

Except for all the popular tourism spots, the rest are filled with the locals.

Yeah, good thing no alcohol is included this year, a big ban was announced throughout the Kingdom.

Hopefully, something good will happen this year.

10 Apr 11 - A few Tip to Phuket

It's been years ever since I took a trip out of the city. Feeling awkward as my I'm leaving my work just like that.

Phuket is a very nice city. Lots of interesting areas, however, it's more like a "farang" oriented area. Initial survey revealed that Phuket is never suited for manufacturing area.

Pharmaceutical itself is a Red Ocean business in here. One can just drown in the sea of debt, mainly from the rental or leasing fee.

It's actually a work trip to check on a few companies such as, Pum Pui Canned Fish, Sukko Spa, Batik Factory and a few other recreation area.

Departed on Wednesday by Bus.

We went into various of places before finally visiting the Sukko Spa and Resort. It's a very interested area. I really suggest all readers who are interested to visit Phuket for it's Spa and Recreation to visit the Sukko Spa.

There's also an hour visit to the famous temple there. It's rumored that, if you have the chance to visit the Temple, you'll return there again soon.

There's over a 1000 pictures of what our friends took, and I cant upload them all. I'll slowly post them up when the time's right.

A well-respected Manager of the Program. She made all the plans associated with our SME businesses. Highly-skilled and talented and is adored by all.

Heh, cheers there, gotta start doing my work.

I'm suffering from some serious illness ever since I returned from the trip to Phuket nor do I have the time to be posting and transferring the pictures from my Laptop to my PC.

I've been resting for the Sunday, and worked on Monday to clear up all the unfinished work I have.

I could hardly eat, and I feel less energetic. Furthermore, some said I'm in a deep depression problem...

3 days dream on Phuket made me realize, how important it is to "give".. Just being able to "give" is such a wonderful moment. Just let me be, I'll be fine soon.. It's always been like that.

I'm actually busy doing the Business Plan for our new Manufacturing Company that will be established in 3 years.

Had other people checking on all the machinery we need, it's quality, competitor check and so on..

But ahh, time just flies so fast, need to finish this in 3 days before the local appointment with the Banks for check up for our updates.

10 Mar 14 - SET in the City Hat Yai

I was bugged by a few emails and SMSs from the TSI.

There's a Stock Market seminar held in Hat Yai today.

I've en errand to run in the afternoon, so regardless, I can only attend only the first half.

It's the 3rd time I attended a seminar in the Conference Room in PSU, not too bad I say.. They're still keeping things very organized.

At 10pm, the opening ceremony begin. It started with the Nora style Dance, famous in the Southern Thai region.

After the opening ceremony, by the Vice President of TSI and the Mayor of Songkhla, a 3 men interview was held. Basically, they leads to the simple conversation and their opinions on how the global recovery is.

The environment outside..

I met a few familiar faces, including 2 of my brokers and other investors.. Kao was here, sitting in the VIP seat, representing the RueSaeng Jhim Investment Inc.

There's also people from the bank, who's familiar with me.

Too bad I gotta leave early, according to Phong, he arrived in the afternoon and a few interested value stocks came into light.

Oh well..

My income is still stable thanks to both our investment firm and Oriental Pharma Co., LTD. but we're focusing on expansion soon.

Since I have free time, I'm doing most of the work now, it wont take long before I'll have to give the authority to Phong again as I'm heading for a second Bachelor on Medical Degree next year.

Which comes to a question... Why did I even choose Pharmaceutical in the first place?

An hour to check a 32 pages Business Plan then heads to bed..........

It's been pretty quiet all these week, we're still focusing in our new entrepreneurship status.

As for me, I have more free time than usual, but it doesnt seem to satiate me in anyway.

Just yet... Feels meaningless in some way as well...

A partial examination had passed, but I still gotta focus on my license next year. Furthermore, Medical entrance approaches in 6 months.

Cant seem to focus on anything, lack of motivation, lack of resolve and determination.. Sigh.

We're still in an important errand though, it's a discussion with a lawyer. The topic is to claim my right according to the Thailand's Labour Protection Law.

Mom's greatly against this after her "fortune-telling" card came off bad. I hate to rely on these "fate-telling" games, but after I was forced to participate, mine turns out average.. Regardless, it puts no pressure to stop me from claiming my right. I'll rethink the pros and cons, the money isnt much anyways, but it's more to pride and honor..

Money cant buy everything, that's why Medical Profession are known to be one of the top.

10 Feb 22 - The End of A Saga, Begining of a New Era

I've been given a permanent leave starting today.

Pity..

108 reasons were given yet none seem accurate, except for a simple 3 reasons:

- Feud between their heir and me.
- My external network with the Oriental Pharma Co., LTD.
- My license to set up a new pharmacy nearby, this might lead to decrease to their customers, however... opening a pharmacy and getting stuck to it for 30 years was never my intention.

I'm greatly surprised how the place where I once place my trust upon had such a thought.

Pity..

My work started on September 2006 and ended today at February 2010. An exact calculator had noted that I've worked for a total of 1259 days.

Things had been surprisingly severed when they started restricting my effort to set up an external network with other colleagues.

It soon spread, and they started to show less and less sincerity.

They started applying more and more pressure, but never would I have thought of their villein attempt to have me resign on my own.

Pity.

On 10am today, it was announced.

Regardless, I feel nothing.. Ever since a few major incidents, I can start to feel for their devious behavior. By then, I've unconsciously developed a natural anti-trust on them.

No names mentioned, but before of what and where you step in, you never know what you'll see.

At the same time, "Smile can kill" ya' know?

But no worry, I foresee this coming, thus why I've established a steady foundation for myself. Thanks to Phloy, P Tu, Nad, Phong and a few others who gave their condolences to me. The work itself was part of my life for over 3 years, and losing it wasnt a problem. To know and finally face reality that the owner of the area was insincere, now, that's the problem.

For all of you out there, dont forget to treat your subordinates just the way you want them to treat you. Respect them, and they'll respect you. Look down to them, and they'll look down on you.

We're all the same.

Chinese New Year's tomorrow... Valentine's Day is also tomorrow.. I suppose I cant help but to wonder how I should split my time... I have my Medical studies to catch up as well... Ah..

I'm sure by now must of us knows what an Internet Dating is. It reminds me to what I've done during my teen years. Regardless, recently the Internet Dating, or the so called e-dating had become a recent "boom" in Thailand.

As someone who had been busy with work for almost my entire lifetime, these Internet Dating sites somehow sounds 'absurd' to me... Though, the thought lasts only until I get to know how they operates.

However, things doesnt just stop there.. I've experienced a 60+ miscalls from an individual who wanted another 'date' with me, but a bulk texter is much worse..

Randomly looking for a "long" term relation means the chance are also random, it just comes to mind, if there's so much trouble to find the "right" one for a "long-term relation", why not just go for a long-term relation with LG Chocolate BL40?

10 Feb 09 - New Entrepreneur Creation Hat Yai

I passed the interview for the NEC in Hat Yai.
Initially, the plan was for a registration in the Prince of Songkla University, but it's full..

So I had to take it to another university in Hat Yai.

It's my second visit to the University, and the environment differ than the one I'm familiar with.
Of course, it's pretty empty but still... I like the quiet environment.

Although not as impressive as the one in the Prince of Songkhla University, I really like the external design and the 'new' furniture.

There are 82 entrepreneurs who attended the course this year.

In the afternoon, there was extra activity for us all to get to know each other.
Surprised, I got to know lots of people from different sectors. Most came from either Technology or Tourism sectors, though, only 2 people came from the Healthcare and none from the Fund sector.

So much for the first day eh, I'm looking forward to the future classes.

Gotta clear all other matter to make space for this one.

Anyways, it's the first time I saw a "bat" in the city.
Wasnt sure what happened, but the sighting happens after a heavy rain and it doesnt look like it have much strength to climb back up either.

It's fine when I left it be, but it doesnt look like it'll last there much longer.

Maybe I can take the sighting to another level in the future... An adventure to a nearby cave maybe?

10 Jan 27 - Only in Thailand can you see a moving Temple

I've been so busy with work and my medical study..

Work, on the other hand has cooled down, but it isnt a good thing, as I'm quite "free" to sacrifice the work time to do something else. Of course, there's also problem with the internal management, but nothing serious.

Oh, have you seen this before?

Every year, there's always these Temple Charity Festival in Thailand. Monks and the likes will be out to request for donation.

Generally, each temple 'design' their car into a temple-like image, and the monk assigned to the task, shall sit in the back of the car to make it feel like a "moving temple."

I think I have a closer view of other type of moving temple, I'll post them if I could find it out soon.

10 Jan 08 - Teens turn into DNA detectives

As one who'll also be in the DNA Reconstructing Course for my Medical Degree soon, this news caught my attention.

When high-school students did an inventory of the DNA in their own homes, they were amazed to find lots of mislabeled food products, a pesky invasive species ... and what appears to be a new breed of cockroach.

"The idea was to explore our environment through the lens of DNA," Matt Cost, an 18-year-old senior at Manhattan's Trinity School, told me. The experiment turned up more than 150 usable DNA fingerprints, found in common items ranging from apartment-building bugs to a feather duster.

The real detective work came into play when Cost and his 17-year-old classmate, Brenda Tan, matched the DNA code against a couple of publicly available databases for animal species. They found out that an expensive brand of sheep's-milk cheese was actually made from cow's milk, that "sturgeon caviar" was actually Mississippi paddlefish, and that dog treats supposedly made from venison were actually made from beef.

Eleven of the 66 food items that Cost and Tan tested turned out to be mislabeled - which reinforced the findings from an earlier Trinity School DNA project. That experiment found that a quarter of the fish offerings purchased at Manhattan markets and restaurants were mislabeled to make them seem more palatable or expensive. The caper, cracked by Kate Stoeckle and Louisa Strauss, came to be known as "Sushigate." (The "Sushigate" sleuths are due to discuss the case at February's annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.)

Cost and Tan followed in the footsteps of "Sushigate," under the guidance of mentors at their school and at The Rockefeller University and the American Museum of Natural History. One of the advisers was Kate Stoeckle's dad, Mark Stoeckle, a physician and researcher who is a member of Rockefeller's adjunct faculty.

Jesse Ausubel, director of Rockefeller's Program for the Human Environment, said the project was an eye-opener for the advisers as well as the students. He was surprised to find so many different species (97, to be exact) represented in New York City's urban setting.

"I wish I were a cartoonist," he told me. "I'd like to show a picture of a doorman at a Manhattan apartment building, and instead of people walking in, it'd be an ostrich and a bison and all these animals. ... It'd be a crazy Halloween or New Year's Eve party."

The samples were collected at Cost's apartment building on the Upper East Side and Tan's house in Brooklyn, as well as at Trinity School, in the homes of friends and around the neighborhood. The students also took strands of hair from eight of their classmates. "We were happy to report that they all came back as 100 percent human," Tan said in a Rockefeller University news release.

The American Museum of Natural History analyzed each sample and, when possible, deciphered its DNA "barcode." Intact DNA was found in 151 of the 217 items tested, including dried soup mix, butter and yogurt, beef jerky and horse droppings from Central Park.

Cost and Tam compared the four-letter codes (ATATTGCAT, etc.) with the codes for more than 65,000 animal species kept by the Barcode of Life Data Systems, as well as codes recorded in the federally funded GenBank database. Ausubel said such databases promise to open up the field of genetic analysis to millions of citizen scientists.

"Now so much information is available over the Internet that it's democratized science again," he said. "In a way, it's turning back to the 17th and 18th century, when a lot of the people who were doing science were not full-time, dedicated scientists."

One rich scientific frontier was found in an Upper West Side apartment building, where the DNA barcodes from several cockroaches were 4 percent off from the norm. That could signal the discovery of a new species or subspecies of insect, Cost said.

"The professors at Rockefeller are in talks with the world's eminent cockroach experts - yes, there are such people," he said. If the samples support the claim of a new species, the students would get to coin its Latin scientific name.

When the students sampled a bug they found in a box of Texas grapefruit, they were able to identify it as an Oriental latrine fly, an invasive species that has become established in Texas, California and Hawaii but not New York (at least not yet).

Tan said she was struck by how resilient the DNA was - and how widespread the product mislabeling turned out to be. "How are consumers supposed to protect themselves?" she said in the news release. "Someday DNA barcoding may be a cool smartphone app. Until then, we think government agencies should start using these early versions of species identification tools to police the market, and the sooner the better."

Been busy with retaking the examination for Medical Course, while at the same time extending my pharmaceutical line further.

It's even worse when your work place generally tried to 'pin' you down to serve them forever, of course, amidst the confusion and the backstabbing, I do appreciate that they are far more sincere than most employers are.

Regardless, I did participate in Sri Buanarch's Countdown Party 2010.

A large number of Thai and Foreign tourists have flocked to Hat Yai distrct in Songkhla province to join the New Year celebrations.

Thai and foreign tourists are heading to Hat Yai to make room reservations and shop at the markets and department stores in the city. A greater number of Thai tourists and Malaysians as well as Singaporeans have been coming to Hat Yai for the New Year and business in the city is becoming more lively as a result.

Ms Suwannee Kaewsinuan, a merchant in Si Kim Yong market, the famed shopping site in Hat Yai, said that commerce in the market usually was active but the period from early December seemed to be even more lively due to a high number of tourists joining the festivities. All stalls, both in and outside the market, were selling more. Most products sold were dry foods, instant foods and imported products from neighboring countries.

It was about grandpa Buffett's attempt on a successful take-over on a country's train system.

The poster will really like grandpa to take over the entire train system in Thailand, to reform and completely improve the entire system.

Another user soon posted that in India, the system is worse than how it is in Thailand.

No matter how corrupt the Thai's Railway system is, you can never see the sight in Thailand.
I thought it was amazing, but something else surprises me after another poster posted this picture:

About 5 days ago, I received a parcel from Amazon.com for my order.

There was 2 books that I was looking for, the first was Blink - recommended by Fritz a year ago, while the other is, the Alchemy of Finance by George Soros, who changes his position through backache.

Investment had never been so much fun ever since I could relate and anticipate where the fund flow are coming.

It's well packed, Amazon.com really does a good job here.

The books are brand new, so new that there were not even plastic cover on it. -_-

Finally, the book I've been looking for years~ The Alchemy of Finance by George Soros!

Even with all these books, I've hardly had the time to massive read and understand the books, in fact, I havent even rad the Alchemy of Finance. Work kills me to the point where I couldnt continue my Medical studies, and with all of the Malaysians coming into Hat Yai, there's almost no time for 'book reading.'

Gah, I need more time.. Someone needs to 'adopt' me maybe. xD

It's been weeks since I last made a proper update on my blog..

I almost have no time for blogging after I authorized for an almost full-authority in Oriental Pharma Co., LTD.

Regardless, I'll make another post regarding His Majesty King Bhumiphol Adulyadej to celebrate his Birthday on the 5th Dec. (5th Dec was also the yearly anniversary of Oriental Pharma Co., LTD. and we was busy setting preparations for both events.. We really need an event planner in the near future. Maybe... finding candidate through blogging is possible?)

King Bhumiphol was married to our Queen pretty long ago.

Time flies, His Majesty the King is always concerned of the people.

No King will allow farmers to turn it into paddy fields harvesting rices every seasons.
No King will run in the battlefield aiding the injured together with his Queen.
No King will plan for and personally lead the constructing of various damp to prevent flood.
No King will by himself, visits rural areas and villages to inquiries of his people's good.

And for this, the King was granted the title "King of Kings.."

His Highness's health is a concern, but as long as he still lives, our spirit will stay with him. He's but the only means of unity amongst the Thai people.

Without him, chaos shall engulf this land called Thailand.

BANGKOK – Thailand's revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej, making his first public comments since being hospitalized, marked his 82nd birthday Saturday with a call for peace and stability in a country that has been rocked by anti-government protests.

Thousands of well-wishers waving Thai flags cheered, cried and chanted "Song Phra Charoen" or "Long Live the King" as the monarch's motorcade made its way to the Grand Palace from the Bangkok hospital where he has been staying since Sept. 19.

Looking alert but tired and showing little expression, the king returned to the hospital after briefly appearing in front of members of the royal family, government officials and lawmakers.

"My happiness and prosperity will happen when the country flourishes and stabilizes," the king said, seated on a golden throne and dressed in a gold brocade robe. "The progress and stability will come true if everyone in the nation discharges their duty with all their might and puts the common interest before their own interest."

He did not mention the ongoing political crisis, which was sparked by a 2006 military coup that ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, whose supporters and opponents have since waged sometimes violent demonstrations. The king's brief comments — and journey to and from hospital — were broadcast live on Thai television.

Bhumibol has been on the throne for 63 years and is the world's longest-reigning monarch. While he is constitutional monarch with no formal political role, he is widely revered and regarded as the country's sole unifying figure.

Long-standing worries over the succession, combined with concerns about his heath have caused widespread unease. The palace has said the king is recovering from an inflammation of the lungs and is in no danger, but has offered scant information about his condition. The king now rarely appears in public.

Since Friday, well-wishers had gathered around the Siriraj Hospital in the Thai capital hoping for a glimpse of him. Many wore pink shirts as a tribute, a trend that first started two years ago when astrologers determined that pink was an auspicious color for the king's health.

Dolnapa Kladbuppa, a 31-year-old teacher from Bangkok, said she was overwhelmed to see the king as he was wheeled out to a waiting van.

"It's a great opportunity for a small person like me to meet the greatest king," said Dolnapa, clutching photos of Bhumibol. "People have come from all over Thailand to see the king. Being from Bangkok, I would have been ashamed not to come here and see him."

Thongsuk Saechin, an 86-year-old housewife who traveled from Nakhon Pathom, 55 miles (90 kilometers) northeast of the capital, said she had been coming each year since was 40 to wish the king well on his birthday — which is also designated Fathers' Day in Thailand.

The festivities went on through the night, with thousands gathering next to the royal palace to give alms to hundreds of monks, watch a fireworks show and light candles in honor of the king.

The occasion was a chance for weary Thais to put aside political differences and unite behind one cause.

Such displays of unity have become rare in the three years since the coup in which former telecom magnate Thaksin was ousted for alleged corruption. He currently lives in exile but remains popular among the rural poor and wields influence from afar.

Last month, a pro-Thaksin protest group seeking to bring down the government called off its plans for a rally in Bangkok after criticism that it would interfere with the birthday celebrations.

The calm is likely to be short-lived. The pro-Thaksin United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship — informally known as the 'Red Shirts' due to their signature garb — has said it may take to the streets as early as Dec. 10 and warned that it will hold prolonged demonstrations next month until the current government resigns and agrees to fresh elections.

Bhumibol's birthday is typically celebrated with several days of fanfare that start with the king presiding over an annual military parade in his honor.

This year's military parade, which was scheduled for Wednesday, was canceled, as was his annual speech to the nation on the eve of his birthday. This is the second consecutive year the ailing king has had to cancel his widely watched televised speech for health reasons.

The king's health is a particularly sensitive topic because of concerns that the succession may not go smoothly. The heir apparent, Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn, does not yet have the stature or moral authority of his father.

Open discussion of the matter is barred by strict lese majeste laws that make criticism of the monarchy punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

I was assigned to re-start the project we started over a year ago again, and this is really time consuming. Not to mention of the 1-2 hours of phone talks everyday now... Gah..~

On the morning of November 24, 2009, it was reported that at 8:48a.m. Samak had died at Bumrungrad International Hospital of liver cancer, at the age of 74.

The news shocks Thailand, as Ex Prime Minister Samak is a well respected politician.

Ex-PM Samak died at 24th Nov 2009 due to liver cancer at the age of 74, over a year of struggle against the disease.

Ex-Prime Minister, he was an honorable man, a very straight forward man who is an expert in both Thai Language and Culture.

At the same time, Ex Prime Minister was also an expert in cooking, no doubt, none are staged, unlike Mc Dang or other people who cooks on TV for fame, Ex-Prime Minister cooks for taste, and he's a real expert in cooking.

Ex Prime Minister Samak loves cat, and he even made a poem for a cat whom he loves. It's a big mystery how many cats resides in his house though, but regardless, he cant resist the temptation to hug it when he found one somewhere..

Ex Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej is a very straight forwarded politician. He excels at speech, and whenever he presents his ideas, the area will always be crowded of people who wanted to hear him giving speech.

He has no fear to show his dissatisfaction to the press, and openly confronts reporters who gave sarcastic remarks on his idea to support the outcasted ex-Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

To fear to even oppose the power-hungry outer constitution who adopts 'communism.'

Mr. Samak Sundarawej is a man of honour who fought for his believe, a loyal to his belief, loyalty to the end.

I personally, look up to this man, it's hard to find a straight forwarded politician, an ex Prime Minister who doesnt complain about the food, but instead, advises the cook on how to do better cooking, or even enters the kitchen to cook.

There's far too many things I have to express for this man of honor, but so far..

My deepest condolence to the family of Sundaravej.

I've been so busy..

A few days ago we registered our official domain in www.orientalpharma.com and you know what? Google Inc. billed it to my credit card but failed to send me the verification email.
I cant log into Google Apps, and the email is sent to somewhere, which isnt mine..

Very bad service from Google Inc.. Very bad.

Anyways it's been raining for 3 days 2 nights and it's still going.

Hat Yai is at the verge of flood once again.

The first time I heard of it is through a Malaysian Customer, who shared his dissatisfaction to the Royalist in Malaysia.

During my studies in Malaysia, I do remember the story of a Malaysia's Royal Member who.. "purposely" swings his Golf Stick onto someone who 'laughed' at him for failing to 'hit' the ball while on his Golf sport. The poor man suffered major injuries and was hospitalized while the "Prince" who committed the crime was ultimately 'released' from the crimes he committed. (He's not even bailed out. Speaking in the term of law, he commit no crime, he was.... untouchable.)

Here's a story released a year ago, I rad in recent newspaper, Khom Jad Leuk (Thailand) said that the case hasnt gone anywhere and the Negeri Sembilan are expecting the police to do something about it.

KUALA LUMPUR, 08 Oct 31 — An alleged thrashing of a member of Malaysia's royal household and his friends by the grandson of the Sultan of Johor and his bodyguards last week looks set to renew debate over the indiscretions of the royalty and whether they are immune from prosecution.

Tunku Nadzimuddin Tunku Mudzaffar, the son of the eldest princess of the Negri Sembilan royal household, filed a police report over the weekend that he was hit with the butt of a pistol on his head and face by a grandson of the Sultan of Johor.

The alleged offender was identified only as Tengku Ismail, and his father is one of the Sultan's sons.

The scuffle allegedly took place at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur in the early hours of Saturday and Tunku Nadzimuddin suffered a fractured nose.

A friend of the Negri Sembilan royal family, Shamshuddhuha Ishak, also filed a police report that he was beaten by the bodyguards of the Johor royal family member and lost consciousness and a front tooth, according to people close to the situation and familiar with the police report.

The alleged beatings took place following an altercation between groups from the two royal households at a popular nightclub in Kuala Lumpur in the early hours of Saturday.

There has been little publicity in the local newspapers over the incident. Sources close to the Negri Sembilan household said that there is intense lobbying to get Tunku Nadzimuddin and his friends to withdraw the police report.

A close source to the Negri Sembilan royal household said that the family wants the police to investigate the alleged beatings and bring charges against the assailants.

The police have yet to comment on the alleged incident but a senior government official told The Straits Times that investigations are ongoing and that several suspects are expected to be called up for questioning soon.

Allegations of indiscretions by members of Malaysia's royal households are not unheard of.

In the early 1990s, former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad pushed through sweeping constitutional amendments that removed provisions granting the royalty immunity from prosecution.

Under the country's Constitution, the country's nine sultans, who take turns to serve as king under a unique rotation system, are above prosecution in the ordinary courts of the land and can be tried only by a special court.

Royal personages below the level of sultan are not protected from prosecution under the country's laws.

Lawyers and political analysts say the latest incident involving the royal households of Negri Sembilan and Johor is likely to be watched closely and will be a test of the government's determination to bring the country's royalty to legal parity with commoners.

Several people familiar with the alleged beatings on Saturday say that friends of the grandsons from the Johor and Negri Sembilan royal households were in separate groups at a nightclub in the heart of Kuala Lumpur on Friday night.

Just after midnight, an altercation broke out between the two groups but the matter was resolved by the nightclub's bouncers.

According to people close to Tunku Nadzimuddin, the 36-year-old prince from Negri Sembilan, received a call requesting him to show up at a hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's financial district to meet the prince from the Johor royal household.

So many things have been going on in the Thai politic, not forgetting that Ex-Prime Minister Thaksin himself sided with Hsu Hsen in trying to apply more political pressure on the current Prime Minister Aphisit.

That's the truth, and that's it... All of politics.

Money, power, authority..

Please dont compare the war technology with the one in the US. Might want to refer this as an urban warfare instead.

Whether it's Cambodia, or Thailand, both countries are packed with RPGs.

The world might come to know that both countries are at a verge of war, first, the problem was the Temple located in between both countries. Both Thailand and Cambodia claim that it's their right as the Temple is located in their country.

The 2nd and most recent now is the Ex-Prime Minister Thaksin, who is leading the anti-government movements, had joined with Hu Hsen in order to thwart the present government down..

Cambodia or Thai? Government or Citizen? Who'll suffer most.... It's the citizens.

Anyways it was Loy Krathong a few days ago.
I dont have much time to post all the details, I did spend sometime in the old University where I once studied in.

Of course, a few familiar faces can be seen.. (They're still together?!)

But on side note, I did spend on ok Loy Krathong, regardless of the amount of work I have due to the Malaysian coming to Hat Yai.

As usual, which is exactly what I did last year.

Surely, when I said the name "Maria Ozawa", tons of you 'men' out there will definitely succumb to 'lust.' (Not to be taken too offensively =P)

Anyways, I dont have any interested in her, but.. this post is a demand from a friend who's really interested in her, and he's very happy when she heard that she's coming to Thailand.

In actual note, I dont know who she is, what she do, or why she's famous. (There's too many famous people out there...)

And so to say.... I eventually found out that Ozawa Maria, nicknamed Miyabi, is a Famous Japanese Porn Star in the Adult Industry.

That actually shun off all interest in her.. Most of you here probably knows her better than I do, and so, I'm sure you can find all sort of pictures of hers over the web.

I'm not contributing more to those 'adult' pics, but what I'll be posting here is regarding the special invitation she's receiving from Thai Beverage Co., LTD. The company is specially inviting her to attend the Chang World Reggae 2009 as an entertainer together with other bands such as Diana King, Big Mountain, Inner Circle, Teddy Ska Band, ส้ม อมรา, โจอี้ บอย, ทีโบน และ Buddha Blessess.

These pictures was hardly on-aired, and it wasnt really all that 'hit' in the entertainment news section, not more than a small corner actually..

King Bhumiphol Adulyadej was hospitalized last month due to a specific illness..

Although the His Highness's Royal News Association has been releasing latest report of His Highness's Health, the Investor in Singapore and Hong Kong were able to spread 'fake' lies which causes unusual Stock Market movements.

On the 23rd October, the Wan Piyamaharaaj, (วันปียมหาราช) His Highness took the opportunity to pay his respect to His Ancestors in the Siriraaj Hospital.

Although a bit thin, His Highness does look much better.

One of them was the famous Oseltamivir and Zanamivir.

I'm not sure how the H1N1 is going in other countries, but surely, the wave had stopped by now.

As for both of the drugs, I dont have it, nor do I think that I could get one in possession for sale. The anti-viral are somehow restricted to Hospitals... So yeah.

A few minutes ago, I received a link from a friend who was randomly visiting blogs.

She reported seeing my blog and an additional Chinese letters which is used to insult me.

Surprised, I checked it out and recall that he is in my blog roll list as well.

As you can see from the image, my name and link are posted, these 死贱.

Even though it's compulsory for me to study Chinese letters, but I never was an expert in it, but for a few easy words.. these are something I have to post about.

The first word 死 ("shi") means death, while the 2nd 贱 ("chian, sen") means lowliness.
The combination would mean that he's trying to read my Chinese pronunciation in an insulting manner, which although in accurate, would means "Low life death."

And you can see someone calling me a bitch there as well...

I'm honestly surprised, as far as I can remember, I dont recall having an argument or a fight with this guy, nor have I ever stolen somebody's boyfriend, I even greeted him, wondering where he was gone to at the time.

Whatever the case, I'm taking this guy off my blog list forever and I hope I wont be seeing Yu Cheng Chong forever.

09 Oct 11 - Strepsil Manufacturing Defect

A few days ago, our customer returned a few boxes of Strepsils SSR due to a manufacturing defect.

The Lot Number and expiration dates have been checked, and nothing is wrong. (Still 2 years till expiration.)

While we're observing the defect in the goods, we're surprised.

The defect is obvious, and the problem only occurs to Strepsil SSRs, while all others, Vitamin C, Cool, Honey and Lemon, Sugar Free are NOT effected by the problem.

We have submitted and returned the damaged goods back to Reckitt Benckiser (Thailand) and while we're checking for further information, it seems that other distributors also received a similar problem.

Though, please note that it's edible, the new Lot are easily affected by the climate change but everything remains the same.

I came first to write in the book but the actual opening time was around 1pm. I wasnt aware of it, and was wondering why the area was so empty.

09 Sep 18 - Cambodia Thailand Border Conflict

The world is aware of the Conflict between the Thai-Cambodian border.

Ever since 3 years ago, the Cambodian had been trying to 'seize' our Khao Phra Wihan National Park which is located at the Thai-Cambodian border.

The Park itself, is owned by the Cambodian, but the entrance leading up to the Temple is in Thailand. The recent years had it that these Cambodian had been 'invading' the entrance leading up to the National Park to vend around the area.

Now after they had been vending at the entrance for years, they had been claim the entrance to the National park is under their territory.

Cambodia's leader, Hussein had been spreading fake propaganda in order to stir an uproar.

The Cambodian themselves had been 'illegally' planting Land Mines around the area, killing and injuring a few groups of the Thai Soldiers. The Thai government had reported the case to the Global Militant Court of how the Cambodia had neglected the Asian agreement to stop using Land Mines (ever since the Vietnam War) but I heard no further news of the subject.

Up till now, Hussein had position 5000 more men around the National Park, and they seems ready for war.

The Thais themselves, although facing political disorder, had the men ready to retaliate in case the Cambodian decided to invade Thailand again.

There had been a few 'truce' negotiations after the Cambodia had opened fire to the Thais, killing a few soldiers in the process. The Thais themselves retaliated, injuring and taking down a few of Cambodian's soldiers.

I dont think Hussein is sincere to call a truce and manage the National Park together.

According to the orthodox International Map, the Entrance to the Khao Phra Wihan National Park is in Thailand, but the Temple itself is in Cambodia's territory. All I hope for is for Hussein to stop 'invading' Thailand's territory and spreading fake propaganda.

I am an expat who had been in Thailand for years, I do know that these scams and threatening exists..
My fellow Taiwanese and Japanese friends had personally explained the problem to me.
They now refused to use these service in Phuket, which are full of scam.
Though, there also a few others who are smart enough to slip out of such situations, and are now living happily in Thailand. I'm one of those.

It just came to my senses of a few things, about the trouble the Royal Marines were having.

- Where's the Pride of the Marine?
It just looks dumb where our Royal Marines, Jack, including the Captain, Tim, stood their calmly being insulted by JJ, who was far smaller in size.
I have a few Marine friends, from both the US and the UK, and none of them would ever stood there being insulted "kiss my ass" so calmly!!

- If you're threatening a bunch of people to rip their fund, would you let a camera film you that long?
The camera's angle was far too good to be taken in reality. The event might have happened, and our Director, Gavin Hill, retake the entire event with a new scene, asking a few 'actors' to act in the film. Someone who's holding a gun would be more interested to shut down the camera than anything else.

- No actions from the Marines. At least call the Tourist Police, or punch him on the face?
Again, it seems funny. If you're trying to negotiate with a local, why didnt it ever flashes across your mind that it's better to be calling the tourist police? At least they're more familiar of the surrounding than you are. It seems rather funny how the Marines stood there doing nothing.

- The Director, Gavin Hill is acquainted with JJ, the Speedboat vendor.
Yeah, our Director admitted that he and JJ are acquainted. JJ even called Hill to record all which he was doing to the marines. JJ's someone who threatens others for money, for someone who do things in the dark, I dont understand why he wanna be famous by showing off his treachery skill. I wonder how much Hill payed JJ to film this though.

I'm not saying that these things never happened in Thailand, but I'm concerned at the fact that Hill, were saying that these were taken 'live.' And all of these are reality show.

I've seen various of reality shows, but Hill's case were far too unique, where the angles, and camera positions were far too good.

Big Trouble Tourist in Thailand is a film as it's over exaggerated and does NOT deserve to be a documentation. If you can film a Police Officer going on 'live' to say that "I corrupt", you might as well record Politicians doing so as well.

09 Sep 13 - A 3 Legged Cat

This is continuation of my post on "09 Sep 09 - from Flesh to Bone"

So to say, we admitted the cat into an Animal Hospital regarding it's condition.

The Doctor insist we 'cut' it's left foot as it had rotted, and chances for recovery are slim.
The cut would go right up to it's cartilage.

Ah, as much as I hate to say this, but the Vet insisted it for a better chance..

Another thing that we're surprised of is... The cat itself is pregnant.

We left it to the Doctor and left it under his care for a few days, and we were informed that the cat had given birth to 3 kitties.. Which, in turn, died due to the inadequate care and early birth. (It was said to have been born around 4am, where the Nurse werent on duty.)

So now what?
The cat lost it's leg, it's kitties, and we'll still need to wound dress it everyday.

Luckily, sometimes ago, someone who's familiar with cats decided to help us out and took it into her care...

It's nice.. but, we never heard of it since then.

Hope the best for it.

09 Sep 08 - Scout Chopper Set an Emergency Landing in Hat Yai

This happened a few days ago.

A Scout Helicopter Unit which was specifically assigned to scan any 'bombing' in Hat Yai, received a terrible remark from their superior for not being able to land properly after an early warning that the Helicopter's suffering from a major mechanical deficiency.

The same Helicopter had been on patrol for months, after receiving warning that Hat Yai are under 'attack' by the terrorists group.

I saw the same Helicopter on my way for work, and I usually spot the same copter during my stay at 'The Haven', it was at noon everyday.

According to source, the Helicopter is a newly bought by the militant, and the cost is of course.. very expensive. The repair cost itself is estimated to be around 350,000 baht.

So, good thing to hear, the pilots and 2 other officers were uninjured, but will probably suffer from the militant's law.

If you're in Hat Yai, you probably can still see the Helicopter pass Big C.

A story happened:

Something happened a few days ago, which kept me wondering of how the 'love' education are going in Thailand.
It was written by students in Elementary School.

When I confiscated whatever they're sending to each other, this was written.

นักเรียนชายคนหนึงเขียนว่า: (A male student wrote this to a female student)
"รักแรกคือสบตา [First love are the eyes]
รักที่สองคือหน้าอก [Second love are the breast]
รักต่อไปคือสะโพก [Next love is the hip]

09 Aug 31 - Cat's Tale [From Flesh to Bone]

There was this cat around the pharmacy I worked in, and one day, someone reported seeing the cat's front legs was being tied by a rubber band.

I thought it was nothing serious, so I put no attention to the event.

Few days past, further reports indicates that the cat's foot started to rot..
Out of curiosity, investigators were sent.

There was no veterinarian with us, so it was up to drug experts to figure out what was wrong.

You see, it licked it's wound till the left paw revealed it's bone.
From the looks of it, there's nothing we can do to it other than taking it to the real Veterinarian.

So simply said, we took it to the Animal Hospital opposite my house right after discussing what we should so with it.

Talk about the cost, I was surprised how expensive the cost was though...

What ever you say, if you have time to be surfing in the internet, I'm sure you'll be seeing many more humans than animals.

However, there are times when we wish to be one with nature again.

I'll list a few interesting animals that I wanna take a closer look of.

The Tamarin Monkeys are named after Emperor Tamarin.

They're easily identified from their unique moustache. So this is where Mr. Pringles got his mustache style from!

The Kodomo, I mean Komodo Lizards in Indonesia

I put this at the top of the list as I've one or two little things to do in Indonesia, regardless though, it'll be a very interesting trip if I could go back there. Ahh, I miss the Soto Madura haha.

The Matamata Turtle, in Spanish, it means "it kills, it kills."

I dont know much about this turtle but it's name is interesting. I wonder where I can find this though.

The Bear Family are also my favourite animal as well!

Whether it's the Gianda Panda, Polar Bear, Koala Bear... Erm.. Whatever the the group! Just look! It can even live in the Middle East! xD isnt it lovely?

I'm not forgetting our daily friends, such as dogs and cats, but there's also other animals out there that we have yet to see.

Animals or humans, they both cry, gets angry and they do feel joy.
Hopefully, we know how to treat them better in the future.

Talk about looks, it does look like a Baron or some sort~

There was this really huge rain last night, and when I reached home, everything was dark, well.. the entire area was.

So anyways, upon reaching home, there's a few documents I need to check... and...

Using these candles are a no-no to check my documents... So..

It's actually a Reserve Power Supply (I forgot what you technicians calls it), but it works out just fine.

Haha, perhaps it's more than just "fine", the entire living room's pretty bright while I was using it to light the room.

Oh well, back to work~

I had a vision of her again.
It's been 14 years yet those dreams are still with me.

So far on London...

This is my first entry for in like 15 days.
Generally speaking, my beloved 5 years old CPU finally gave in..

As a lab rat who works by dealing with all of these C13H18O2, C8H9NO2 and is in a development for a Nano-based drugs for our parent's companies, I didnt have much time to check the stuff myself.

It took the WBC a total of 14 days for a check up before I got fed up and took it home when they took off one of my 256mb RAMs (luckily, I had a 1GB of DDR1 inside) so it still works fine.

However, according to the WBC's Technician, nothing was wrong other than the RAM, but upon actual usage, it keeps hanging...

Obviously something was wrong.

Long story short, I got myself a new CPU, for a nearly a sum of twenty thousand anyways.
At least this should be able to support my activities for another 5 years..

Anyone who knows me would know that it's hard to see me having free time to do a few "time-killing" errand.. (Even now, my desk is full of security papers, project work, patient's record, drug stock supplies, etc. etc.)

Though, that wasnt the case this time..

Talk about the eclipse on my last post, I wanted to take a few nice shots from "my sky" in Hat Yai. I even take the effort to get up to the 11th floor just for this occassion..

But it was all cloudy and I can hardly see the sun... Sighhhh......

(If you've ever been to Thailand, you should find these for sale. These are the symbol of PAD. They clap, clap, clap till you finally gave in to the urge and got one for yourself.)

On political note: The Prime Minister of Thailand, Aphisit Vejajiwa is completely powerless... He got in a conflict with the Superitendent of the Police Department when the road-politic groups were forcing our Beloved Prime Minister to kick him off.

The problem was, the police couldnt find the assassin who tries to Shot Sonthi Limthongkun by means of assassinating him. It's a miracle that he survived though.

I wasnt able to see it live as it was all cloudy in the morning... (Was never really attracted to astrology, but this is something I'd like to see from my sky, not the TV's)

Horrible day..
It was going to be one fine day, but the Mother and Daughter ruined it.
They wanted what others sold to me back and I got it back for them even though it got me in a big trouble. I was being sincere with the Mother and Daughter and now they said "They dont need it anymore."

I was like "What?!"

I paid to buy the stuff, now I gave them back the stuff and they said it's incomplete, and they dont want it at the same time it also got me in a huge trouble.

I'd think thrice before helping these Mother and Daughter again, or maybe never..
